Community Outreach

1. Christian Worship Centre

With a seating capacity for 350 people, the building is used as a worship centre for both English and Mandarin speaking members. Covenant Presbyterian Church has established Ang Mo Kio Presbyterian Church. It also serves as the birthing point for Lighthouse Evangelism. Pioneers have also established the Marma Mandarin Foundation Church.
Community Program

A Sri Lankan Christian worship service is held on Sunday afternoons to cater to the needs of the Sri Lankan nationals working in Singapore. Many of them are working as housemaids or in the hospital care industry and are using Covenant House as a place to meet, keep in touch and encourage one another whilst working in Singapore.

Our vision is to love and bless the community through building friendships, meet social needs and foster integration with residents. Community projects include tuition for students, enrichment courses (financial planning, healthy living) for adults. Outings to places of interest in Malaysia and festive events like Mooncake Festival have been conducted with Tekka Moulmein RC. Outside Singapore, outreach centres have been established in Central Thailand, Vietnam and Sri Lanka.

Covenant House runs the A&G Home at Telok Kurau, providing counseling and care for about 25 delinquent teenage girls. We work very closely with the Ministry of Community Development and Sports (MCDS) to take in girls with the aim of integrating them back to their families and to society.
